Stewart Cink lands first PGA Tour title since 2009 Open
Cink fires final-round 65 to win his seventh career PGA Tour title
Stewart Cink landed his first PGA Tour title since winning his maiden major at the 2009 Open Championship with a two-stroke victory at the Safeway Open.
Cink, who had his son Reagan on the bag, carded a final-round 65 to finish two shots ahead of Harry Higgs on 21-under par.

The American's last win came 4,074 days earlier when ousting Tom Watson in a playoff at The Open
"I definitely had a lot of emotions out there today," said Cink, paying tribute to his wife Lisa's battle with cancer.
"I just was overcome at a few times with a feeling of gratitude and just feeling like how fortunate I am to be in the position that I'm in.
"The last four or five holes of a PGA Tour event your name's on top of the leaderboard, but think about it, I've got my son caddieing for me, my wife is in almost five‑year remission now and she's walking out there just on the side of the ropes, and at 47 I'm able to compete at the highest level and now not just compete, but win.
Cink now has seven career PGA Tour titles and the win means he earn his Tour card for at least another two years on the PGA Tour.
A number of PGA Tour players were quick to praise Cink on social media, none more so than his close friend and two-time major winner Zach Johnson.
"My heart is full," tweeted Johnson. "My long time buddy Stewart Cink has always been a champion... especially off the course. And now he's a champion again on the course!!! "Not surprised. Faith, family, friends, bbq... Stew is the best!"
