Remember when Justin Thomas broke Johnny Miller's 'low score in relation to par' with a 9-under 63 at the US Open last month, only to learn Miller immediately poured cold water on it in the commentary booth?
Well Thomas, who missed the cut at Birkdale this week, certainly hasn't forgotten about that - and the American took to Twitter today to get his own back on Miller as he sat back and witnessed Branden Grace record the lowest round in a men's major with a third-round 62 at Royal Birkdale.
Johnny Miller about to go full Buffalo Wild Wings commercial on @BrandenGrace on 18. If you've seen the commercial, you get it #62watch— Justin Thomas (@JustinThomas34) July 22, 2017
Awesome round of golf @BrandenGrace, HISTORY! Got to sit back and watch the entire thing. Now that's how you move on moving day!— Justin Thomas (@JustinThomas34) July 22, 2017
OPEN R3: GRACE SHOOTS LOWEST ROUND AT A MEN'S MAJOR
Following Grace's men's major record round today, Miller did the best he could to take it in stride and compliment Grace's stellar round.
But he made sure to throw in a, "they did set the course up really easy today folks, but it's still an excellent round."
Come on Johnny, let's start giving these guys a little bit of credit.
