Under Armour and the Golfing Union of Ireland (GUI) have announced a partnership, commencing in March.
GUI’s green tops will be the only international golf shirt to carry the Under Armour logo, and Ireland’s elite team will wear the brand’s product head-to-toe.
GUI had their first podium finish at the World Amateur Championships last year, capturing bronze in Mexico.
Ireland also beat England, Wales and Scotland to win their third successive Home Internationals title in August.
Pat Finn, Chief Executive Officer of the GUI said: “The impact that Under Armour has made in the golfing marketplace in a very short space of time is testament to the supreme quality of the product. The GUI sends more than 30 squads and teams to compete overseas annually. We look forward to working with Under Armour to ensure that our players are optimally prepared for success when representing Ireland."
Clothing worn by GUI will feature the Under Armour Gore-Tex Paclite Rainwear, and the new Spieth One shoe.
