Brandt Snedeker produced one of the more eventful birdies in AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am history when hitting a superb recovery shot from out the Pacific Ocean down the left flank of the par-5 18th.
Seemingly wet off the tee, Snedeker was surprised to learn his ball had stayed dry and was resting on the pebbles.
Down he went, and without wasting too much time, sent his ball back over the rocks and onto the fairway. From there, Snedeker sent a superb 7-iron to within 10 feet of the cup, and he duly rolled home the putt to arguably record what many are labelling birdie of the season so far.
