But despite Spieth's fall from grace with the flatstick in 2018, you wouldn't expect him to be missing putts from SIX INCHES. No, seriously, the three-time major champ whiffed his putt from that range on day two of The Northern Trust.

Spieth (-2) made the halfway cut at Ridgewood Country Club but lies eight strokes off the pace set by the hottest player in golf right now in Brooks Koepka and compatriot Jamie Lovemark.

Australia's Adam Scott lies one adrift, while defending champion Dustin Johnson - who has made two treble bogeys already this week - sits two strokes off the lead alongside Bryson DeChambeau.
