WATCH: Rory McIlroy nearly falls in water, then plays shot out bush on knees!
It's been some day three for Rory McIlroy at the Honda Classic!
Rory McIlroy will not forget the third round of the 2018 Honda Classic in a hurry, and sadly for all the wrong reasons.
McIlroy, who is currently lying towards the bottom of the pack of those that made the halfway cut at PGA National, went out in 40 shots on day three after playing holes 4 to 8 in 6-over to fall back to 9-over for the tournament.
And it nearly got a whole lot worse for the Ulsterman when he nearly fell backwards into the water at the par-3 fifth...
Moments later, McIlroy then found a bush at the back of the sixth green, but instead of taking an unplayable, went straight into the bush and down on his knees 'Seve-style' to chip the ball back out, albeit en route to a double-bogey six...
McIlroy, the world number 10, has not won a tournament anywhere in the world since the 2016 Tour Championship.
