Step 3-4: Step into the ball

Once you're stable in the feet together position then take the club back in a normal swing path, not changing any technicalities about your swing.

As you see in the step 3 photograph, David flexes his left knee as he would do when about to commit to a normal stroke and keeps his left arm straight

Make a three-quarter backswing, as a full swing would make you lose balance at the top.

Then come down into the ball by stepping your left foot into its original position. This will bring all your body weight forward on the downswing.
