Step 5: All body weight forward at impact

The position pictured here is where you want to be at the end of this practice drill.

At impact all David's weight has been thrown forward, as well as his hands pushing past the clubhead. This closes the clubface and in turn compresses the ball, giving you a better ball strike.

Notice David's head is still set in the same position as it was at address despite the exagerated backswing and downswing.

This is a great drill to help make sure you hit the ball before the ground, and works even more effectively if you place the ball back in your stance.
