Adams' Ultimate GT irons.
Adams Golf has updated its successful GT irons that combine graphite and steel in one shaft, to produce Ultimate GT irons, to be launched in the UK in March.

The company will also be unveiling in Florida, later this month, Tight Lies GT drivers and fairway woods that feature a new heel-weighting zone to help square the club. They expect a Spring launch in Europe.

The Ultimate GT long irons have more offset and lower centre of gravity to get the ball airborne, while the short irons have less offset and higher centre of gravity, for ‘controlled trajectory".

Says company founder Barney Adams: "the input we have had from custom fitting has taught us to put the best features from our current irons into the Ultimate models."

The are expected to be available in 2-iron to 9-iron, with a choice of four wedges. A set of nine irons is £569 with graphite shafts and £469 with GT shafts.

The Tight Lies GT 303 driver has a 363cc clubhead - Adams’ largest club – while still conforming with USGA regulations. It will be available in two models (including titanium) and three lofts. With a suggested retail price in the US between $250-$350

GT fairway woods will come in Strong 3 (13 degrees), 4, 5 and 7, as well as a Smart 3 (15 degrees).
