Warren Bennett, one of the European Tour's brightest talents, will represent ProQuip rainwear this year.
He says the range was put to the test at Vale do Lobo where the Portuguese Open was truncated because of bad weather.
Bennett finished in a tie for 60th with two rounds of 76 but is hoping for an improvement in form in next week's Spanish Open in Gran Canaria.
"Living on the south coast of England and with the winter we’ve had, rainwear is vital. I am delighted to be working with Proquip, " he says. "It's very important to be able to swing comfortably in poor weather."
The new ProQuip Ultimate suit (£219) has new features designed for Professional Tour use and extreme weather conditions. The two layer laminate premium, Gore-TEX jacket and trousers are windproof, breathable and lightweight. Other products in the range include the ProQuip Professional jacket, Ultralite jacket and trousers (men and women), Aqualite jacket, Rainshield trousers and windvest, Tempest jacket, Versa windsweater and Aurora jacket and trousers.
Following his top 30 finish in the 2001 Volvo Order of Merit, Warren, who recorded his maiden full Tour victory in the 1999 Scottish PGA Championship is aiming to improve on his runner-up spots in Holland and Singapore.
Says ProQuip’s development director, Richard Head: " This is one of the strongest ranges we have ever developed, the collection is stylish and extremely functional Warren fits our brand image perfectly and we wish him every success."
