Callaway launches XR 16 Sub Zero driver

Callaway has launched a limited edition XR 16 Sub Zero driver that is designed to deliver extremely low spin for high swing speed players.

The driver, as played on Tour by Phil Mickelson and Nicolas Colsaerts this season, features Callaway's lowest centre of gravity (CG) ever in a driver and two interchangeable weights (10g and 2g) to fine tune the trajectory.

A new proprietary Carbon Triax Crown - Callaway's lowest carbon crown ever - redistributes weight below the neutral axis.

Players can move the heavy weight forward for the lowest spinning, flattest trajectory or move the heavy weight back to promote a slightly higher trajectory and more forgiveness.

Callaway has made just 100 heads in Europe offered through custom build only, and they will be available through a select number of European custom fit retailers.

An array of 20 premium shafts are also available at no upcharge.

RRP: £399
