Harrington wears the FootJoy PureTouch glove

FootJoy, makers of golf best-selling gloves, claims to have set a new standard in feel, fit and performance for the serious player with the introduction of its exclusive FootJoy PureTouch golf glove priced at just under £20.

Using a lighter Cabretta leather, new leather preparation techniques, with a more tailored fit, FootJoy says the PureTouch glove, which will have limited availability, offers unique features to golfers.

One it says, includes an exceptionally soft subtle feel and another is a sustained secure contact, helped by the removal of the perforation in the palm and fingers.

The FootJoy PureTouch glove is already being used by several on Tour, including the triple major winner, Padraig Harrington who says: “All FootJoy gloves are superb but when I first put the PureTouch on, it felt very different. The quality is excellent, it's a precision fit, feels very soft with a fantastic grip. I've been wearing it for a while now and just love the fit and feel."

The FootJoy PureTouch will be available from July 1 in a select number of retailers with a recommended price of £19.95
