Hot on the wheels of its EZi3 and EZi5 Digital trolleys, Canterbury-based EZiCaddy is introducing a third electric model - the EZi One, priced at £199 including VAT.

Described as an ‘entry level’ powered trolley, it comes with no bells and whistles, no gizmos nor gadgets, says the makers.

It’s a one-spec model but has a unique plug-in battery, a charger and can be delivered free to anywhere in the UK.

The Ezi One joins the upgraded EZi-3 Digital (£229) and EZi-5 Digital (£279) models which have a choice of frame and trim colours.

The EZi-3 has a power gauge, a separate battery condition indicator, power-on light and USB port. The EZi-5 comes with a full colour display that tells identifies speed, power setting and has three distance measurements, two time measurements and battery condition read-out and USB port.

EZiCaddy founder John de Graft-Johnson says: “We have achieved these prices by designing and assembling the product at our factory in Kent. We only sell through our own website direct to the consumer, giving golfers the benefit of cutting out a dealer’s margin.”

The EZi One will be available from July 12.
