Ashworth celebrates...new shoes from adidas...Yonex signing

The ProQuip brand, with its innovative weatherwear, is introducing the HydraTech fitted rain suit (above left) combining the award-winning Silk Touch and Ultralite fabrics with a sharp-cut athletic style.

Colours are black/sea blue, sea blue/black, black/cream, grey/black and black with co-ordinated trousers. Price is £199.

In an exciting climax to the ANZ Australian Ladies Masters, England’s Lisa Hall (above right) won at the Royal Pines resort - an event shortened to 54 holes because of rain.

Hall was wearing clothing from the new Ashworth range, for which she is a touring ambassador.

Pringle of Scotland, which has appointed Orange Brands as the exclusive licensee for golf range, has revealed its autumn/winter 2008 collection featuring polo shirts, trousers and waterproofs while maintaining its distinctive knitwear and mercerised shirts.


adidas Tour 360 LTD shoes

adidas Golf, has unveiled its latest golf shoe - the Tour360 LTD, with a new low-profile to 'improve feel and stability and promote better ball-striking.'

Additional features include the a Powerband 'chassis' with 10-cleat configuration for enhanced grip and 3D fit-foam sock liner.

Colours are mustang brown, black and white/black in regular and wide widths, available at £150.

Yonex has signed Japanese teenager Ryo Ishikawa, already a winner as an amateur on the Japanese Tour, to play is Yonex Cyberstar NanoV driver, and 3-wood as well the Cyberstar forged irons.

Ishikawa, who turned pro in January, has played Yonex equipment since the age of 10.
