GALVIN GREEN is introducing a free App this month to give golfers the full story behind the hi-tech performance garments in its 2014 Spring/Summer Collection.
Free to download on all iPhones, iPads and android devices as part of the brand’s exciting new GEAR UP campaign, the App includes a movie filmed in a wind tunnel showing garments in the most extreme wet and windy conditions, as well as a store locator and news platform.
The App also explains Galvin Green’s Multi-layer concept by showcasing key performance-related features in the latest Shell (GORE-TEX), Warm (INSULATM), Cool (VENTIL8TM) and Base (SKINTIGHTTM Compression) layers that are designed to function together to cope with varying conditions.
Golfers can also look in more detail at every garment and accessory within these four layers by clicking on tabs that take them straight to the men’s and ladies’ collections on the Galvin Green website.
Another highly-technical feature is a GEAR UP camera that becomes interactive once a mobile or tablet appears over an icon in a Lookbook available at stockists or on in-store display units around the country.
