SkyCaddie SG2.5 Lite - entry level distance measuring

Golf Distance-measuring device-maker SkyCaddie has introduced a new entry-level GPS system for under £150 with many of the features in its top-of-the range SkyCaddie SG5 model.

Using satellite navigation, The SkyCaddie SG 2.5 Lite automatically calculates the distance to the front, centre and back of the green on every hole the golfer's playing - in less than a second. It can be used on 95% of the 18-hole golf courses in the UK.

Lightweight and rechargeable, the compact hand-held unit also has the shape of the green in a black/white visual display and also features SkyCaddie’s 'Mark Your Ball' function, measuring the distance you can hit any shot to help the golfer build up a picture of how far he or she hits every club in the bag.

The SkyCaddie SG2.5Lite is upgradeable to SkyCaddie SG2.5 functionality, which adds IntelliGreen target information on each hole, including bunkers trees and other hazards.

The SkyGolf course mapping library, available to SkyCaddie 2.5 Liteusers, contains almost 30,000 golf courses in 42 countries worldwide, including over 2,300 in the UK and Ireland all of which can be downloaded through the product's membership plan, featuring software upgrades and course updates.

The SkyCaddie 2.5 Lite costs £149.95 and includes Rechargeable lithium-ion battery. AC battery charger, USB cable, heavy-duty belt clip and 'Quick Start' guide.
