Ping’s new bag and stand.
Ping's latest entry into the lightweight carry bag market, the J-Bag, makes its debut this autumn with a multitude of user-friendly features designed to appeal to those golfers who prefer to carry their clubs.

Weighing only 4.8 pounds, it claims ‘to combine functionality, durability and styling with the uncompromising Ping quality and workmanship.’

Key features are the full-length, four-way nylon dividers with modified graphite-friendly 7.5 x 9-inch top and soft cover to create easier access for clubs in each compartment.

"Our new divider is designed to take up less room so that a golfer's clubs can take up more room," says Ping’s John Solheim.

Other features include streamlined pocket structure, six zip pockets, including a velour-lined pocket for storage of valuables, large clothing pocket, mesh sack for water bottle, padded dual or single shoulder straps, bag stand and towel and umbrella clips.

It is available in a range of distinctive colours and the cost is £125.
