Introducing its new Autumn/winter style of clothing the Ping Collection has revealed the Plexus striped sweater.

The crew-neck lambswool sweater features an unusual multi-stripe across the body with plain raglan sleeves.

It’s available in a choice of three distinctive colours – black, navy and camel - in a range of sizes from small to XXL. It’s machine washable and made of 100% Woolmark lambswool with a recommended price of £50.

Meanwhile, news reaches us that MacGregor Golf has acquired Bobby Grace Putters, the company which produced the distinctive ‘Fat Lady Swings’ mallet putter with which Nick Price won the 1995 US PGA and attracted orders of over 27,000 in the following fortnight.

The company also produced the ‘Amazing Grace MOI’ trapezoidal, bi-metal putter.

Known for its high quality research and development of the V-Foil technology, MacGregor is set to produce a range of milled putters principally a re-designed tri-metal MOI putter line in November and Bobby Grace models in February.
