The weather in Wales that extended the Ryder Cup could hardly have proved more beneficial to ProQuip, the Edinburgh-based manufacturer of lightweight golf weatherwear and preferred supplier to the European Team.
And with the endorsement of worldwide exposure it received still ringing in its ears, the company is adding a playing top to its TourFlex stretchable rain suit.? ?The breakthrough TourFlex fabric enables golfers to swing freely, athletically and quietly, as if wearing a lightweight second skin, say the makers, who have introduced new colours to co-ordinate with the blacket Tour Flex trousers (£100).
For both jacket (£150) and playing top (£150) they are: black/white/red; olive/black/white; royal/black/white; white/black/red. Sizes S-XXXL.
Features also include velcro/elasticated cuffs, waterproof front zip and pocket and cord adjusters.
ProQuip chief designer Richard Head says: “ProQuip has been the leading developer of ultra-lightweight weatherwear fabrics for nearly 30 years, but the TourFlex is the best rain suit we've produced."
