Skechers Performance Division has expanded its GO GOLF footwear range with the athletic Blade shoe.

Skechers is the number two footwear brand in America, and has broken into the UK and Ireland market in recent years.

The shoe is designed to look like a "modern-day running trainer", and utilises technology that is employed in Skechers' award-winning trainers, adapted for golf.

GO GOLF Blade has a low drop midsole and a fully waterproof upper with hybrid traction system.

The low drop midsole is in place for increased ground feel, which results in improved player performance.

Although the shoe is run-inspired, and therefore uses synthetic materials, it is still 100% waterproof, thanks to an H2GO shield waterproof seam-sealed protection.

A dual density Resalyte shock absorbing midsole and a high-performance Resamax cushioned insole system deliver suprb comfort.

An agion anti-microbial insole helps to keep feet fresh when walking long distances on the golf course, and a stabilised midfoot area has also been added for increased control during in the all-important golf swing.

All of these Skechers Performance technologies are combined with contemporary 3D printed overlay detailing, padded collar and tongue, and soft fabric shoe lining.

The outsole is also fitted with replaceable Softspikes cleats to maximise traction throughout the round.

Price: £109
Colours: Synthetic Black Upper w/ Red Trim, Black Synthetic w/ Lime Trim, Charcoal Synthetic w/ Blue Trim, Navy Synthetic w/ Red Trim, and a classic White Synthetic w/ Black Trim.
