Adams Golf is out to make a big impression with its latest forged Idea Black CB3 irons, which it says are aimed at attracting the game-improver and designed to add forgiveness from 4-iron to pitching wedge.

“We wanted to create a club with great feel and striking looks and one that performs well for a wide range of golfers,” says Tim Reed, head of Adams' research and development.  “The CB3's design enhancements will definitely improve performance both for the better player and the aspiring golfer.”

Features, says Reed, include a thin face with grooves to deliver 'a high level of consistent feel and performance' and a new multi-material badge in the back cavity 'to reduce vibration and improve sound.'

Authorised Adams Golf fitters will have a CB3 fitting kit to customise lie angle, length, shaft flex and shaft type and to fine tune the irons for each golfer’s specification. From April, the clubs will have a suggested retail price for 4-iron to PW of £699.99 (steel) and £799.99 (graphite), for right and left-handers in various flexes.

Adams Golf is also releasing eight models of Puglielli Black wedge with radial sole geometry, laser-engraved faces with DG Spinner shafts.

They will be offered in 52-60 degree lofts with variable bounce options, priced at £129 each.
