Golfers in Dundee and Edinburgh face tough decisions at the weekend – whether to go ahead with their regular game or take advantage of new deals offered by the openings of new Direct Golf UK golf stores.

Scottish legend Sam Torrance will be in Dundee between 10am and midday tomorrow (March 24) to open the City Quay store, before heading to Sleafield Way to attend the Edinburgh store’s unveiling from 2.30pm.

At each venue - formerly the premises of the Scottish Golf Centre, which Direct Golf UK acquired in January – there’s a chance to enter competitions to win golf with the former Ryder Cup captain at Fairmont St Andrews.

Customers will also be able to test equipment on state-of-the-art Global Play simulators and indoor putting greens and receive custom-fitting advice from PGA professionals.

There’s also the opportunity to try on the latest golf styles from a wide range of brands and take advantage of some limited edition special offers.

Established in 1991 by PGA pro John Andrew, Direct Golf UK has expanded from one store in Huddersfield to 20 stores across the UK, with more than 250 staff including 50 PGA pros.
