adidas means business with its new ranges

New ranges of polo shirts and weather gear are about to be launched by adidas for its Autumn/Winter 2005 Collection, which also includes a lightweight ClimaCompression shirt (£27.99) which can be worn under a polo shirt to keep muscles warm without interfering with the swing.

The ClimaProof storm rainsuit (£125 for jacket, £115 for trousers) is for men and women and is made from 100% polyester stretch twill and includes waterproof zips, removable sleeves and storm collar.

The insulated storm jacket (£99.99) has a quarter zip and features an internal storm flap and microfleece chin guard. It replaces, says adidas, the need for sweater, windshirt and rain jacket by providing all their characteristics in one garment.

Climalite and Climacool technology are features of the adidas shirt range currently worn on Tour by Sergio Garcia, Justin Rose and Ian Poulter.

Flagge Climalite Mercerised shirts (£34.99) have synthetic fibres to wick away moisture from the skin, while Flagge Climacool shirts(£29.99) feature ventilation designed to regulate skin temperature, improve airflow and dry faster.

Completing the collection are the adidas performance range (£24.99). New colours include ember, vapour, aztec and china.
