As we know almost none of you were watching, we thought we would bring you the news that Adam Scott held off fellow major champions Justin Rose and Jason Dufner, as well as Padraig Harrington, to win the PGA Grand Slam of Golf.

The Masters champion smashed the course record on Wednesday at Port Royal with a stunning 7-under 64 to defeat US Open champion Rose by two shots on 8-under.

Trailing by four shots with ten holes to play, the Titleist staffer struck the front in the four-man field with a 6-iron that settled inches from the cup at the par-5 17th for a tap-in eagle.

"Obviously, I'm thrilled to come out on top," said the Australian, who slipped on a pink jacket to go along with his green one he donned in April.

"Fun - but a trying couple of days here, really, especially today. Standing on the 11th tee, didn't look like a score like that was going to be possible. But I played very well and managed to slowly claw away at Justin."

A 6-iron was also the club Scott used on the second playoff hole at Augusta National when he defeated Angel Cabrera - but this one came from a new set.

Scott replaced his irons for the Presidents Cup two weeks ago.

"So this one's got some good stuff in it, too," he said.

Scott trusted a full bag of Titleist clubs including new Titleist 714 MB irons, 913D3 driver, 910Fd fairway, Vokey wedges, Scotty Cameron putter and Pro V1 ball. He also wore FJ Sport footwear and FJ StaSof glove.
