THREE new faces have been added to the star-studded roster of talent competing for the Celebrity Cup at Celtic Manor this summer.

Television stars Bradley Walsh and Philip Glenister plus former England cricketer Graeme Swann will tee up in the special golf tournament at Celtic Manor Resort in South Wales from July 4-6.

Former Coronation Street actor Walsh remains a regular on the small screen as lead character DS Ronnie Brooks in Law and Order: UK and as the presenter of ITV game show The Chase.

Best known as detective Gene Hunt in Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes, Glenister has just appeared in BBC1 drama From There To Here, in which he played the lead role of Daniel Cotton.

Spin bowler Swann will be relishing the prospect of pulling on an England shirt once again, having ended an international career that included three Ashes triumphs over Australia in the winter.

Swann and Walsh join an England team led by Mike Tindall, a Rugby World Cup winner with England, which also features Dragons’ Den entrepreneur Peter Jones and model Jodie Kidd.

Other stars already announced for the 2014 Celebrity Cup include TV comics Rob Brydon and Brendan O’Carroll, Irish singing superstars Ronan Keating, Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden, and rugby legends Gareth Edwards, Gavin Hastings and Kenny Logan.

Thousands of golf fans and celebrity spotters flocked to Celtic Manor to enjoy the first ever Celebrity Cup last May.
