Iconic golf brand Maxfli is set to make a return to the global golf market next year

After a difficult couple years, iconic golf brand Maxfli is set to make a return to the global golf market next year. With an 80-year history and a long association with players of the calibre of Jack Nicklaus, Fred Couples and Greg Norman, the company will be a welcome re-addition to the golf scene in the spring when it launches a brand-new range of premium level products.

New technology is being applied to the range which includes a 3-piece urethane ball and set of fully forged irons with Project X shaft, and with its updated logo Maxfli now has a much more contemporary feel. The game improvement end of the market will be covered by the Revolution and Black Max irons, while for the more advanced player, the VT range will be perfect. A range of VT woods were also seen at the Golf Europe show, hopefully more details will appear in the coming months.

But having made its name in the hands of the Tour’s finest professionals, it’s little surprise to learn that a Tour-level offering is high on the agenda for the spring launch with the long-term aim of getting the products back in the hands of the pros. The C3 range looks set to do just that.

Having been fortunate enough to have a sneak preview of the irons at the Munich show I can safely say that fans of the brand won’t be disappointed. This is a stunning set of forged irons that come equipped with Project X shafts and some of the best looking black wedges imaginable.
