Tiger Woods takes a three week break from the US Tour after his exertions at the US Masters but many of his Augusta challengers will be stopping off at Hilton Head for the WorldCom Classic, starting tomorrow.

Ernie Els, Phil Mickelson and Sergio Garcia are all in the field at Harbor Town golf Links, where Jose Coceres scored a surprise maiden victory last year in an extended playoff with Billy Mayfair.

The 38-year-old Argentinian returns after breaking his wrist in an impromptu game of football, determined to prove his 11-under par win was no fluke, though he missed the cut in Atlanta and Augusta where he played his first return tournaments.

The British challenge is led by Luke Donald and Ed Fryatt with Garcia, Parnevik and Johansson representing the rest of Europe.

Look out for a strong challenge from Brad Faxon, whose eagle two at the par-4 11th at the US Masters – a 6-iron from 196 yards - was rated the shot of the tournament.
