Need To Know
During my recent ball test, I found it spun much less than the Tour B330-S and RXS and I enjoyed great roll with the drives - certainly above average.
I also enjoyed a nice penetrating, high launch off the driver face and pleasing sound at impact.
I received great spin off the wedges, from 110 yards and in, and particularly on shots closer to the green. The ball also prooved a little tougher to scuff than some of its high-end competitors.
This ball features a larger core but a softer cover, as well as Bridgestone's proprietary Dual Dimple technology.
The new Dual Dimple offers superior aerodynamics and enhanced wind performance while the larger core produces faster ball speed for longer distance.
The urethane cover, now 6% softer than the previous model, also offered me enhanced greenside spin control.
Putting didn't feel too firm or too soft, it was just about right.
Firm off the tee and soft around the greens, with a lovely crisp feel when striking the ball out the middle. A solid combination.
