Galvin Green signs Ryder Cup deal

Swedish-based brand agrees three-year deal up to 40th Ryder Cup at Gleneagles

Galvin Green has penned a deal with the Ryder Cup Europe to become a licensee and part of a new Exclusive Collection for golf's exciting biennial event.

The contract agreement, running up to the 40th Ryder Cup at Gleneagles in September 2014, enables Galvin Green to offer its premium-priced garments with the official Ryder Cup logo across the whole of Europe for the next three years.

The Swedish-based brand will feature the Ryder Cup logo on a selected number of garments in both the 2012 and 2013 product ranges, as well as with its dedicated Exclusive Collection to be unveiled in March 2014.

“This new contract is recognition of the importance of the brand as a leading golf clothing supplier,” said Galvin Green chief Christian Nilsson.

“We are very proud to be associated with one of the world’s biggest sporting events and one that every golfer in Europe would like to feel a part of. Now we can add our distinctive style to the Ryder Cup and cement our reputation in key markets.”
