SCOTLAND-BASED GLENMUIR is launching a collection of golfwear featuring Merino wool which, it claims, is both stylish and perfect for taking the chill off an early morning start or late afternoon finish in Summer.

Priced at £61, 'Aviemore' and 'Glencoe' sweaters for men blend merino with acrylic, with Aviemore featuring a double collar with contrast piping and button detail on the v-neck. Glencoe has a zip neck.

The men's range also includes the 'Wilkie' classic v-neck sweater (£68) and the sleeveless 'Rankin' (£64). Both are available in a wide range of upto 20 colours making them ideal club or corporate cresting.

Glenmuir introduces the v-neck 'Maya' (£66) and sleeveless 'Leona' (£62) merino knitwear for women - each with a choice of 12 colours.

Merino wool, says Glenmuir, is best for regulating body temperature, is naturally anti-bacterial and moisture-wicking, with an 'excellent warmth to weight ratio.'
