Need To Know
It was both cool-looking and cool to wear - either for golf or for leisurewear - until recently. That's when the distinctive silver UA Tour logo started peeling away from the black material.
It's a great shame because I always felt a little taller and a little more confident wearing the shirt. But despite careful and regular washing (ironing is not recommended), it has taken its toll.
It's still a great shirt, wicking away moisture from the skin, keeping me dry and my body temperature consistent but the adhesion of the logo is stubborn and I'm unable to peel the the rest away. I'm left with a shirt with half a logo, I can really only use as an under-layer or just around the house.
I'm a great fan of Under Armour clothing and its layering system and won't be put off. But hopefully UA can find a way to emboidered logos on to shirts without it affecting their moisture controlling properties.
