Royal Albartross has taken the next step forward by launching its ladies range, which the company claims is every bit as sexy, stylish and innovative as its male counterpart.
The British shoemaker has unveiled six luxurious designs for women that marry classic and contemporary European design and leathers with Italian craftsmanship and American cleat technology.
Combining super-soft linings and a chic eye for intricate detail, it’s no wonder supermodel and golf fanatic Jodie Kidd, who has long been an advocate of the brand, has declared the stylish brogues to be ‘fantastic shoes, supremely comfortable and stable’.
Alex Bartholomew, founder of Royal Albartross and chief designer of the women’s range, said: “Ever since the launch and international success of our men’s range, we’ve had women pleading with us to create a shoe as beautiful and practical for them.
“It wasn’t about over-designing something new, rather updating a classic golf shoe and making it appeal to today’s stylish lady golfer.”
Styles include Barcelo Blue, Betsy Bellagio, Candy Rousso, Dolly Dumont, Lady Luck and Diamond Lottie, with colours incorporating white, pale pink, lilac, powder blue, silver and black patent.
Available in UK sizes four to eight, at RRP £335, the shoes can be ordered in time for Christmas via www.albartross.com or at Wentworth Golf Club pro shop in Surrey.
