Lock & Roll technology is a refreshing touch to putting
Head too chunky; Little response from face; Difficult to judge distance

A consistent eye position results in more consistent putting, so the Wilson Staff Vizor has incorporated innovative I-Lock technology to lock the golfer into the perfect putting position.

I know this a mallet but on first looks, I thought the head was far too chunky. However, it made amends with its matte black finish that helped reduce glare from the sun. As expected from a Vizor, right?

In terms of feel, the Vizor didn’t provide a huge amount of feedback for my stroke and felt dead off the face at times. With little response from the face, I found it was incredibly difficult to judge distance.

I also found it was difficult to get the ball rolling on a true line and had a few skid off the face. This putter is head heavy and I just felt it was hard to control the 10 and 20-footers.

The Lock & Roll technology is a nice, refreshing touch to the art of putting, but I found I had to push my hands forward to eliminate the red lines and that wasn’t ideal.

Verdict

I didn’t particularly like this effort from a brand I've usually favoured towards due to their value for money ethos. Unattractive with minimal feel. Better putters out there for £120.
