Need To Know
The VX51 Forged wedges have been designed to suit the accomplished golfer, say Benross, and come in 52, 56 and 60 degree versions, but I reckon they could also help to give confidence to mid and higher handicappers too.
Looks: Just taking your stance and looking down at the Benross VX51 forged wedge's rounded form inspires confidence straight away. The satin finish helps to banish those annoying incidents when a rare moment of spring sunshine flashes back into your eyes or causes a distracting reflection from the clubhead. These wedges have been introduced to complement the VX51 Forged irons.
Feel/performance: There's a comforting solidity, weight and balance about this Benross VX51 forged wedge, which gives me a similar feeling of security to my 52 -degree Ping Tour wedge. We all know that golf is all about confidence and the Benross VX51 performed from the word 'go'. Easy to control in a full swing, it tossed high balls to the green without a problem and I also found it very forgiving for chipping around the greens, whether you need a flop and stop or a chip and run. Very versatile and at under 60 quid worth a try.
