Jon Rahm Ryder Cup record: What is his overall record?
Jon Rahm Ryder Cup record: Check out how many points the two-time major champion has won in his three previous appearances.
Jon Rahm will be making his fourth Ryder Cup appearance for Europe at Bethpage Black in 2025.
The Spaniard made his debut in 2018 and played only three matches, but he provided one of the most endearing images of the week at Le Golf National.
Rahm, now 30, had been a professional for barely two years, but he was already a two-time winner on the PGA Tour while adding three further victories on the DP World Tour.
But he had a tough start to his Ryder Cup career in Paris, losing the opening fourballs match of the contest in partnership with Justin Rose.
They were beaten at the last by Brooks Koepka and Tony Finau, and changing partners to Ian Poulter in Saturday's fourballs did not have the desired effect as they went down 2&1 to Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth.
But Rahm collected his first point in the singles, taking down the legendary Tiger Woods and being overcome by emotion when he wrapped up a memorable 2&1 win on the 17th green.
Rahm arrived at Whistling Straits in 2023 as the US Open champion, and he was one of the few European players to impress in a heavy defeat.
He partnered compatriot Sergio Garcia to three wins over the first two days while maintaining his unbeaten record heading into the singles as he and Tyrrell Hatton tied with Bryson DeChambeau and Scottie Scheffler in Friday's fourballs.
But he ran out of steam on Sunday and suffered a 4&3 defeat to Scheffler as Team USA ran out comfortable overall winners by a 10-point margin.
Rahm faced Scheffler in three of his four matches in Rome and was unbeaten against the world No 1, winning the first foursomes clash on Friday before they fought out a pair of ties, including in Sunday's singles.
Rahm is unbeaten in his three matches with fellow LIV Golf star Hatton, and there's a strong chance that partnership will continue in New York.
