Birdie Chance - Par 3, 158 yard 17th

When you come to the 17th after a potentially treacherous round, it's fair to say you're relieved to see a short par 3 with few hazards to put you off your stroke.

At 158 yards off the championship tees it's only a mid-short iron for most golfers and although the green is large with no drastic gradients, the shorter the iron you can afford to play, the better. O took a 9-iron to benefit from greater control and a better angle onto the green.

There is however a small greenside bunker short left of the green so pushing it out right with a slight draw into the green is your best option.
