Signature hole: Par-5 18th

In reality, there is not just one signature hole on this golf course. There are a few, ranging from the woodland style opening hole to the stunning par-5 13th.

But for me, the closing par-5 is my favourite with the array of bunkers and giant pond separating the 18th green from the clubhouse.

It has a blind tee shot over a small hill which leads down to the final stretch. A solid drive will leave you in good stead for your second shot, where you can either attack the green in two or play a safe lay up before the water feature.

If the pin is stuck back-right of the green, then playing safe down the left-hand side of the putting surface to avoid the drip and the front right greenside bunkers is a must.

With the greens running true there's always a good chance of holing a long one so play the hole with respect and you could reap the rewards.
