The new waterside Ramada Plaza Hotel in Southport

  A new 4-star hotel has been launched in the heart of the UK’s ‘golf coast’ offering golfers the ideal base to explore England’s North West and play on some of the best courses in Europe. The new 133-bedroom Ramada Plaza Hotel in Southport is part of a £30million redevelopment of the town’s waterfront.

The hotel will provide a great location for golfers wishing to play Open Championship rota courses Royal Birkdale, Royal Lytham and St Annes and Hoylake as well as classic local links like Hesketh, West Lancs and Southport and Ainsdale .

Bespoke golf breaks can be arranged by the hotel which also has packages available to suit golfers of all standards and can organise transport to and from the golf courses and recommend local bars and restaurants

Nick Lebetkin, managing director of The Even Group, which has invested in bringing the Ramada Plaza to Southport, said: “We know that many golfers are keen to play courses on the Golf Coast and have been looking for a golf-friendly hotel which meets the standards they expect.
