There's a large practice area by the car park as you enter the premises, which is great for short game practice, as well as the putting green just in front of the clubhouse.
Flackwell also has a state of the art swing analysis and custom fitting room using the innovative FlightScope technology to iron out any faults you may have picked up.
A 45-minute session with Simon Quilliam, Head PGA Professional, is good value at £35 considering this modern and relatively hard-to-find technology.
Overall course verdict
At £50 on the weekends, and £40 weekdays it is very pricey but for a twighlight 18 holes at £25 you can play here at a reasonable price.
It is well maintained, has some spectacular views across the Chilterns, and has an extremely challenging run into the clubhouse past the 12th hole. So if you're looking to play a tough woodland course, Flackwell is worth a look.
