Every private members' club is likely to have reasonable training facilities but for me Temple's are the nicest I've seen.
Although not long, there's a grass bays driving range set in a beautiful setting just right of the par 3 13th as well as a short game practice area located just left of the 15th hole in a tranquil spot.
There are also two adjoined practice putting greens just in front of the clubhouse for those few putts you need to practice before a big round.
The unique aspect of Temple is certainly it's 'inland links' design that, at times, really gives you the proper links experience with hard greens and firm fairways but also combines beautiful woodland scenery.
The variety of holes makes it a tough but enjoyable challenge, and certainly if you were starting out as an amateur or playing as a professional there's a treat in store for everyone.
