Staverton Park

If you’re looking to combine a bit of golf with a New Year celebration for you and your partner, Golf & Leisure Breaks have lined up three opportunities for golfers who might be suffering from withdrawal symptoms.

For £190 per person, Staverton Park in Northamptonshire is offering two nights with dinner and breakfast on December 30 and 31. The offer features a six- course gala dinner and dance, plus unlimited golf (subject to availability) – just the thing to blow away the cobwebs.

Wokefield Park, near Reading in Berkshire, is home to one of the finest courses in the county. Here, £195 per person buys unlimited golf (subject to availability) and two nights with dinner and breakfast, including a special New Year's Eve dinner and disco in the Kagisco restaurant. You can upgrade to a gala dinner dance with live music for further £30 per head.

Wokefield Park

Wychwood Park in Cheshire offers the potential of unlimited golf, two nights full board – including gala dinner, drinks reception and New Year’s Eve disco - for £190 per person.

If you fancy a golf trip to Ireland over the holiday period, three of the emerald Isles' great courses have teamed up to offer a special pass which entitles you to play Mount Juliet, Waterford Castle and Faithlegg House for just £95.

Mount Juliet is home to the $7 million American Express Championship in 2004 and Faithlegg has staged Ladies Pro Tour events. For its part, Waterford Castle, close to the Waterford Crystal factory, is rated one of the best venues in South West Ireland and is reached by a unique ferry.
