Card wrecker – 9th hole, par 4  (472 yards from the blacks)

Just as you prepare to take the turn, TPC Myrtle Beach throws a spanner in the works which will have you changing a Diet Coke into a Bud Light in the beautiful clubhouse.

The enemy here is length. The claustrophobic tee shot has trees peppering the right and left side of the fairway so not only do you need to be long, but also accurate.

The hole doglegs to the right which complicates matters as if you land on the right side of the fairway you can block your second shot.

A solid tee shot will leave most with a long iron, or even more, into the tricky green and you don't want to be missing the dance floor with your second shot.

If your approach is not of the highest calibre, you will see your ball rolling away from the elevated green which will leave a difficult chip shot.

If you can walk away from this one with par, pat yourself on the back and head to the clubhouse for refreshments.

Head to the Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday website and  TPC Myrtle Beach website for more information including green fees
