National Golf Club of Canada
Unfortunately this is a male-only club, a rarity in this day and age, meaning many golfers miss out on this outstanding course.
The course designer set out to create one of the most demanding courses in the world and it is often viewed as just that. Players appreciate the test and think the course is a brilliant test of length, finesse and golfing intelligence. The silky greens are highlighted by golfers as an outstanding feature.
Narrow, undulating, tree-lined fairways and infamously gorgeous greens make shooting low a mean feat. When the course record is 67, set by Lee Trevino, you get a sense of the difficulty.
