The sun-kissed La Manga Club has confirmed it will stage its first ever Generation Cup tournament as part of the resort’s 40th anniversary celebration during the Whitsun half-team break.
Taking place from June 6 to 8, the event offers adults a great opportunity to team up with younger members of their families as they go in search of glory on the fairways.
Run by the Lee Westwood Golf Academy’s teams of professionals, competitors will receive two days’ comprehensive coaching before putting their skills to the test in an 18-hole event on La Manga Club’s prestigious South Course.
Packages for the event start from €330 for teams staying in the resort’s five-star hotel or four-star Las Lomas apartments, and competitors can enjoy a four-night stay in the hotel for only €149 per night.
Children aged five to 12 will also be able to indulge in anything from juggling, circus face painting and acrobatics to making animals from balloons, balloon games, dressing up as Disney characters and taking part in their own Disney show.
And if that wasn’t enough, La Manga Club’s new entertainment packages also give youngsters to experience a range of different sports including football, basketball, volleyball and petanque.
