Mas Mauri Golf

Sleeping up to 16 people, with nine bathrooms and seven rooms, this is an incredible villa. From entrance to departure, you will be looked after like you would not believe.

Run by a man called Ramon, who looks a little like Greg Norman, this traditional - all made of stone - 17th century country house is a ten-minute drive to Costa Brava’s best beaches and most importantly within 25 minutes of six courses.

Surrounded by Gavarres hills - a huge reserve area where to walk and cycle - this villa is a paradise for golfers. On top of relaxing in peaceful surroundings, the golfer can also sample delicious homemade Paella, as well as pre-order all drinks as part of the service.

Without doubt, Mas Mauri is the very best country house in Catalonia. Possibly the world.

Price: €4,450 for seven nights (14 people; equates to €45.40pp/day), €2,200 for weekend (14 people; equates to €52.40pp/day)
