Callaway has launched three new golf ball models today: the Chrome Tour, Chrome Tour X and a newly designed Chrome Soft.

All three models provide tour-level performance and feature a whole host of ground-breaking new technology to help golfers achieve greater distance, speed and accuracy.

Set to be used by the likes of Jon Rahm, Sam Burns and Xander Schauffele, these balls are Callaway's new gold standard in Tour performance.

To help you figure out if these could be the balls for you in 2024, we've put together a list of four things you need to know.

Let's get into it.

New technology

Hyper Fast Soft Core: Focused on speed

A newly designed core with an improved rubber system and ideal compression to provide improved ball speed

Seamless Tour Aero: Focused on flight

Each ball has a uniquely designed aerodynamic pattern using a combination of hexagonal surface geometry with spherical dimples that will provide improved distance and stability during flight.

High-Performance Tour Urethan Soft Cover: Focused on control

The new soft cover provides a softer feel, increased spin and greater spin consistency.
A changed substructure allows players to launch the ball lower and provide plenty of bite on short shots around the green.
The new cover provides a better connection between the face and ball and a reduction in variation for better downrange dispersion.
