If you invest in one thing this month, make it Callaway's Dog Month golf balls

Just don't lose them in the ruff.

While Crufts has come and gone for another year here in the UK, over the pond it's currently National Dog Month—a cause we think we can agree everyone can get behind.

And with dogs becoming an increasingly common sight on courses these days as they open themselves to more walkers and casual players, Callaway have taken it upon themselves to celebrate man's best friend with a limited-edition run of Chrome Tour golf balls themed around our favourite furry companions—starting with two iconic small breeds in the Dachshund (which has naturally already sold out), the Corgi, and now the Yorkshire Terrier.

There's very little here to separate the Chrome Tour Small Dogs edition from the standard, aside from the canine-themed print that cutely covers the balls. You still get all the performance of the original Chrome Tour, of course, just with a little extra something to help settle your mind at address. Because who wouldn't want to look at a cute cartoon corgi before stroking a birdie putt?

It's worth noting that we're now three in to National Dog Month so far and Callaway has dropped three 'Small Dog' variations of the Chrome Tour so far. That suggests there may be more in store. Maybe one themed around larger breeds, perhaps?

Either way, it's unlikely any of them will be around long before selling out, so be sure to get in fast while the going is good. The Dachsund-themed balls sold out extremely quickly, with examples finding their way on to eBay at some incredible mark-ups shortly after.

A dozen retails for $54.99 at Callaway USA and £55 at Callaway Europe—exactly the same price as the standard edition. Honestly, we'd pay double.
