KBS’ latest iron shaft promises more control without losing that famous feel
The new TOUR V-X is designed to deliver greater stability and tighter dispersion while retaining the feel KBS golfers have come to expect.

KBS has expanded its iron shaft range with the launch of the new TOUR V-X, a steel shaft designed to give golfers greater stability and control without compromising the feel the brand is known for.
The latest addition to the KBS line-up has been engineered for players looking for more predictable performance throughout the iron set. Its construction combines a firm butt section, responsive mid-section and stable tip profile, with KBS claiming the design helps reduce unwanted shaft movement through impact.
The result, according to the company, is a more consistent delivery that can promote reliable launch, trajectory and tighter dispersion.
At the centre of the TOUR V-X is a new flex profile and geometric design built around KBS' three key performance principles: stability, feel and playability.

KBS claims the shaft's weight-to-strength ratio is almost 20 per cent higher than any previous KBS iron shaft design.
The increased strength is intended to minimise shaft distortion during the swing, particularly through impact, helping golfers deliver the clubhead more consistently and produce a truer ball flight.
“Golfers should not have to choose between stability and feel,” said Kim Braly, KBS Director of R&D and Master Shaft Maker.
“With the TOUR V-X, we have engineered a shaft that feels unmistakably KBS but offers an exceptional level of control through impact.”
The TOUR V-X is available in six weights ranging from 105g to 130g, while flex options include R, R+, S, S+, X and TX, which gives club fitters a broad range of combinations to match different swing speeds and delivery patterns.
The new shaft joins the lighter TOUR V-X LITE within KBS' growing V-X family, giving golfers more options across different weight and performance requirements.
For players who prioritise consistency and control but don't want to sacrifice shaft feel, the TOUR V-X is positioned as a next-generation addition to the KBS iron range.
KBS says the new design is aimed at golfers who want to swing with greater confidence and produce more predictable results from their iron play.
