L.A.B. Golf has officially unveiled the VZN.1i, the latest addition to its Lie Angle Balance putter range and the first model in the company's lineup designed specifically to optimise alignment.

The new VZN.1i combines L.A.B. Golf's zero-torque Lie Angle Balance technology with a geometry-driven alignment system aimed at helping golfers aim more accurately and confidently on the greens.

Designed with a traditional full-sized mallet profile, the VZN.1i has been created with one objective in mind: improving alignment. The putter head is engineered to clearly show where the face is aimed while helping golfers lock onto their intended target line.

The VZN.1i features a 303 stainless steel face insert with deeper milling than previous L.A.B. Golf models, while dual ball-pickup options include both a "gimme getter" and scoop design. Golfers can choose between 0-degree (Vertical) and 1.5-degree shaft lean configurations.

“VZN.1i was approached formulaically by combining everything we’ve learned from the success of previous L.A.B. Golf models into a familiar mallet shape that’s easy on the eyes and even easier to putt with,” said Cameron Day, Senior Vice President of Product at L.A.B. Golf.

“Every L.A.B. putter is engineered to roll the ball on its intended line through Lie Angle Balance technology. With VZN.1i, we took things a step further by simplifying another critical aspect of putting: alignment.”

Like all L.A.B. Golf putters, each VZN.1i is hand-balanced and assembled before passing through multiple stages of production. Golfers opting for a custom build can select their preferred shaft, head colour, putting style, shaft lean, shaft length, lie angle, alignment markings, head weight and grip.

The VZN.1i is available now through L.A.B. Golf, with stock models priced at $499. Custom versions start at $599, while the putter will arrive at authorised retailers from 9 June.

L.A.B. Golf has established itself as one of the most talked-about putter brands in golf thanks to its Lie Angle Balance technology, which is designed to eliminate torque from the putting stroke and help golfers return the face square to the target more consistently.

GolfMagic will have a review on the VZN.1i later this summer.
