Penfold Golf snaps up one of England's best golfers on the PGA Tour
One of Britain's most storied brands, Penfold Golf, has announced a new partnership with five-time DP World Tour winner Matt Wallace.

Penfold Golf has made a notable move on the professional stage after announcing a new partnership with Matt Wallace.
The historic British brand has signed the five-time DP World Tour winner as its latest brand ambassador for bags and accessories, marking a significant moment in Penfold’s modern revival.
Wallace, 35, is currently ranked 76th in the Official World Golf Rankings.
The Englishman is a one-time PGA Tour winner having captured the Corales Puntacana Championship in 2024.
Founded in 1927 by pioneering British ball maker A.E. Penfold, the brand has long been associated with precision, performance and classic style, with its products carried by generations of golfers from club level through to the world’s biggest stages.
While Penfold continues to honour that heritage, it has increasingly focused on reimagining traditional British design for today’s game.
Matt Wallace becomes the first Penfold ambassador on tour since Seve Ballesteros won his first Open Championship in 1979.
Wallace’s signing is particularly notable, with the Englishman becoming the first Penfold ambassador on tour since late great Seve Ballesteros won his first Open Championship in 1979.
“Matt embodies everything Penfold stands for including British excellence, determination, and a touch of understated style,” said Gavin Perrett, CEO of Penfold Golf.
“As we continue to build on our remarkable legacy, having a player of Matt’s caliber carrying our bags and accessories is the perfect fit.”
One of England’s most dynamic players, Wallace has established himself as a proven winner on both the DP World Tour and the PGA Tour. He will carry Penfold’s premium bag and accessory collections throughout the season.
“Penfold has been a part of British golf for almost a hundred years,” said Wallace.
“To represent an iconic brand that’s always stood for quality and authenticity while having the association with some of the game’s most legendary players like Seve, Gary Player and Sir Nick Faldo, is something very special to me. I’m proud to carry the Penfold name on tour.”
The partnership will also include exclusive product collaborations and appearances across upcoming campaigns, celebrating Penfold’s heritage and craftsmanship as the brand builds towards its 100th anniversary in 2027.
Wallace can be seen carrying a Penfold staff bag inspired by the design used by Ballesteros in 1976 at The American Express in La Quinta, California this week.
